About James Watson

Experience
I began my career in 2002 within estate agency, including providing administration support to their in-house mortgage broker, prior to making my move into financial services recruitment in 2005. My focus here was always in recruiting for Mortgage Brokers and other similar roles. In 2020 I completed my CeMAP qualification and began my career as a qualified Mortgage Broker.
I have a particular interest in working with clients within the Buy-to-Let space, including portfolio landlords and Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV’s) due to a mutual love of acquiring and growing a portfolio of property, but equally aim to support clients including First Time Buyers looking to navigate their way through the complex process of buying their first home, clients looking to re-mortgage or re-finance their existing home, or clients looking to move into a new property.
Personal
I am married and a proud Dad to 2 girls who I enjoy spending as much of my spare time with as possible. We enjoy travelling and spending time together as a family on holiday. I enjoy playing goIf and am also a Level 1 qualified Football Coach and manage and sponsor my youngest daughters football team.
