Experience
I have over 15 years’ experience in the financial industry, having worked within various facets for a global bank, initially I began my career working for HSBC Bank as a customer advisor. My career quickly progressed with the bank and lead to me working as an IT and compliance project manager for many years, this also included holding international compliance roles abroad.
I wanted to use all my experience and knowledge and develop my career by helping people find effective lending solutions for their residential or Buy to Let investment solutions. I have held several advisory roles over my 6-year career as an IFA initially specialising in Buy to Let portfolio landlords and then on to Customers with specialist adverse lending requirements. With my experiences as an IFA it was a natural progression for me to work as a Whole of Market Mortgage and Protection Adviser for Charles Derby Mortgage Bureau and now Fort Advice Bureau.
I find my role most satisfying and I strongly believe we should all enjoy what we do. I like helping my customers purchase their first or second homes, protect themselves from debt. It is especially challenging and rewarding when I am helping a client purchase their first home when they have been turned down by other brokers simply because they are not specialists within certain areas. Likewise, with remortgage clients who have encountered some sort of financial difficulty due reasons out of there control and are struggling to remortgage, I specialise and pride myself on helping clients who I would class as going through a credit repair exercise as they have been through some unforeseen circumstances.
Personal
I am based in the West Midlands and passed up the opportunity of permanently moving to Dubai whilst working for HSBC bank. The main reason for this decision was to be close to my family and friends as this is very important to me. In my spare time I enjoy keeping fit and as healthy as possible, I play football twice a week, enjoy running and cycling.

- CeMAP 1,2,&3 – Certificate in Mortgage Advice & Practice
- Degree in Accounting and information Systems BA (Hons)
